29th ACIPFAL CONFERENCE
JFMPS / NSF/ CIPFA Education & Training Conferences

The ACIPFAL conference was held at the University of Reading on 5 and 6 July 2007 with accommodation at the Crowne Plaza Reading. This was one of  the key events in the CIPFA education calendar,  the point at which education and training decision makers came together to debate the issues of the day.

Held over two days, the conference had various streams, on the first day the Journal of Finance and Management in Public Services (JFMPS) conference and the National Students Forum (NSF) conference. On the final day, delegates  attended the CIPFA Education and Training Conference, which included presentations from CIPFA, students, providers and an open forum where key issues are debated.

Delegates attended the Gala Dinner on the Thursday evening when the CIPFA President John Butler awarded the Tom Sowerby Award to Martyn Buckley for outstanding service to CIPFA students, and delegates get the opportunity to celebrate the achievements of the year.
