ACIPFAL Annual Conference and Call for Papers

Every year towards the end of June, ACIPFAL holds its annual conference. This is the key event in the CIPFA education calendar, and is the point at which education and training decision makers come together to debate the issues of the day.

Delegates include CIPFA councillors, lecturers, academics, students, CIPFA secretariat, CIPFA regional representatives, and education specialists. This rich mix of interests, together with the open atmosphere, guarantees a lively and enjoyable event.

Held over two days, the conference has various streams on the first day, including the Journal of Finance and Management in Public Services (JFMPS) conference and the National Students Forum (NSF) conference. For further information on the call for papers please see the call for papers documentation.

On the final day, the full conference gathers for an Education and Training Conference, which includes presentations from CIPFA, students, providers and an open forum where key issues are debated.

At the culmination of the conference, the whole community gathers at the gala dinner. As part of this event, the NSF presents their 'Award for Excellence in Education' and delegates get the opportunity to celebrate the achievements of the year.

Any individual or organisation with an interest in either public service research and/or the CIPFA education process will find the ACIPFAL conference a compulsory addition to their annual diary.
