Certificate in International Public Sector Financial Reporting (Cert IPSFR)

The CIPFA Education and Training Centre (CETC) will offer face-to-face tuition to support and complement the new Certificate in International Public Sector Financial Reporting (Cert IPSFR) which is an e-learning programme developed by CIPFA and the ICAEW.

Cert IPSFR is a unique public sector focused programme which will help you develop a fundamental understanding of both the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs) and their public sector equivalent, International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSASs).

Tuition

CETC will offer face-to-face tuition to support and complement the on-line learning materials for Cert IPSFR in England, Scotland, and Wales, and outside the UK, in response to demand.

England, Scotland and Wales

Two types of programme will be available.

Firstly, a short course for individuals, that can be run at any CETC venue in the UK, namely London, Birmingham, Cardiff, Edinburgh, or Manchester. Details of fees and dates will be made available shortly. Courses are expected to start from May 2010.

Secondly, a tailored Cert IPSFR course can be developed for an individual organisation or group of organisations.

Outside the UK

For Cert IPSFR students outside the UK wishing to attend a tuition programme, a 5 day course can be run anywhere, subject to there being a sufficient number of course participants at a particular location.
