Workshop on the Public Expenditure and Financial Accountability (PEFA) Methodology
The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) have developed a course to help donors, recipients and other agencies understand the Public Expenditure and Financial Accountability (PEFA) Methodology and how it works in the real world day to day.
What is it?
This two and half day workshop is designed to help participants understand and apply the PEFA methodology.

The course will also include inputs from the PEFA Secretariat in Washington DC, enabling participants to understand the latest thinking and approaches in this field.

Who is it for?
The workshop is designed for Government officials and representatives of donor agencies, who are likely to have an involvement in supporting the PEFA assessments It is assumed that participants in this workshop will have good basic understanding of public financial management, and it is expected that participants in advance will have familiarized themselves with the PEFA PFM Performance Measurement Framework documentation (contained on PEFA’s website: www.pefa.org).
Course date and price
The two and a half day course is being held on 15-17 June 2011 at CIFPA Education and Training Centre’s office in London.
We are currently offering the course at a special rate of £995.00 until the end of May 2011. We are seeking donor sponsorship for attendees unable to meet the full cost of the workshop.
