PrintThe Bye-Law 28(B) Regulations relate to:
- Members and Registered Students who have entered into bankruptcy or Individual Voluntary Arrangements; and
- Members and Registered Students who have been hospitalised under the Mental Health Act 1983 or whose professional competence or efficiency is otherwise seriously impaired by reason of ill health.
Amendments to Bye-Law 28(B) have been approved by the Privy Council and consequential amendments to the Regulations will come into effect on 19 December 2008. The Bye-Law and Regulations shall from that date make reference to the Mental Capacity Act 2005, which has replaced various provisions of the Mental Health Act 1983.
