Competency

Bye-Law 28(B) Regulations

Regulations, passed by CIPFA Council on 30 March 2001, set out the procedure for consideration of the competency issues referred to in Bye-Law 28(B). The Bye-Law and the regulations apply to members who have entered into bankruptcy or a composition/arrangement with their creditors or who suffer from a mental illness leading to hospitalisation pursuant to the Mental Health Act 1983 or a court order for detention or for the appointment of a receiver.
