The Chartered Institute of Public Finance & Accountancy (CIPFA) conference centre can be found on the quiet, but very well-located, Robert Street in the heart of the WC2 area, three minutes walk from Charing Cross Station, four minutes walk from Embankment underground station, and with good connections to Waterloo station, Heathrow and the City airports.
Robert Street is just off The Strand, one of London’s most famous streets on which there are numerous hotels, and there are several car parks nearby, giving the added pleasure of easy parking, a rarity in London.
Our conference centre is also close to tourist hotspots, such as: Trafalgar Square; the National Gallery; the Houses of Parliament; the River Thames; and some of the rooms boast views of the London eye. Read more about our seven rooms.

In addition to its great location, No.3 Robert Street is also an elegant listed Grade II* building, one of the remaining parts of the original Adelphi development built by Robert Adam. The building’s former occupiers include the Bishop of Durham, John Galsworthy and Sir JM Barrie. Sir JM Barrie is believed to have written Peter Pan at Robert Street. CIPFA also has its own history, as one the oldest accountancy bodies, dating back to the 1880s.
