After Hours

The conference hosted a number of social events to which exhibitors and sponsors were invited. The following established occasions are excellent opportunities to network with delegates.

WELCOME RECEPTION

This is the first social occasion of the conference and took place in the exhibition halls on Wednesday 14 June from 17.00-18.00hrs. The popular fringe lecture was also held during the reception, encouraging delegates to attend. Wine and soft drinks were served and many exhibitors offer additional hospitality on their stands.

PRA AWARDS

The conference hosted the 5th Public Reporting & Accountability Awards – an important recognition of achievement, promoting best practice in public reporting and accountability arrangements across the public services. The awards ceremony immediately followed the first full day of sessions on Wednesday 14 June and all exhibitors were invited to attend. The ceremony was a celebratory occasion with Guardian columnist, David Walker announcing the winners.

GALA BALL

Held on the final night of the conference, this dinner-dance attracted nearly 300 guests. Companies particularly enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of this occasion, where they could entertain delegates by purchasing tables at a discount and leave the organisation of the event to us!
