CIPFA’s Financial Management (FM) Model is an online diagnostic toolkit specifically designed to undertake a comprehensive financial management assessment of any public sector organisation.

The model helps identify cost-cutting opportunities and efficiency gains, by accurately pin pointing weaknesses and acknowledging strengths.

Organisations can subscribe to use the tool for 12 months and analyse the results themselves, or there are a number of packages that include services from CIPFA experts, such as analysis of results or independent assessments. Prices depend on the option chosen.

The tool can also be tailored so that you can focus on a particular aspect of financial management that you wish to improve, or conduct a full review of your whole organisations' financial management.
