CIPFA thanks employers for student support
Three top training organisations have received CIPFA's Best Practice certificates for their excellent student support.
In a ceremony on February 23, chief executive Steve Freer presented the awards to the London boroughs of Islington and Hackney and the Metropolitan Police. These three organisations have teamed up to establish a joint graduate training scheme, and CIPFA was delighted to give formal recognition of their efforts.
The Best Practice awards are part of the Employer Accreditation Scheme for organisations that train CIPFA students. More than 70 employers have taken part in the scheme since its launch in March 2002. To find out more about how to become an accredited employer, contact Paul Myner on 020 7407 9010.
