Are you up for the Leadership Challenge?

Leadership ChallengeCIPFA is sponsoring a team for an exciting new leadership competition being organised by the ICAEW – and is looking for additional entrants. The 125 Leadership Challenge has been designed to develop leadership, motivation and management abilities, identified as core skills for business leaders of the future. It will also raise funds for the children’s charity Whizz-Kidz. Briefly, the Challenge involves six-member teams competing in one of over 20 one-day events at major city locations around the country between May and September. Teams can be company-sponsored or groups of six individuals. Male or female, everyone competes on equal terms, with the Challenge focusing on mental stamina and inner strength rather than physical ability. Two members of each team need to be either CIPFA or ICAEW members.

The Challenge Final will involve a spectacular three-day trip to South Africa in October contributing to a remote community project in the Drakensberg Mountains. The programme will be rounded off with a prestigious Leadership Challenge Ball in November when the winning teams will be presented with their trophies and Whizz-Kidz will receive their donation.

To join the CIPFA team contact Helen McDonnell on 020 7543 5872 or email helen.mcdonnell@cipfa.org. Further information is also avaiable at www.125challenge.co.uk
