CIPFA members awarded honours
 CIPFA members have been recognised in this year’s New Year Honours, including CIPFA Council member Helen Kilpatrick who was made a companion of the Order of the Bath. CBEs were awarded to Ann Beasley and Professor Alice Brown and retired CIPFA member Bob Hutchings received an OBE. Read the full story.

Three new online topics have been added to the Improvement Network. The Corporate Social Responsibility section outlines how CSR can deliver business benefits, a new Health Essentials section focuses on continuous improvement in health, and a Knowledge Management section explores how to manage knowledge to drive improvement.
