One Scotland, Many Challenges
Edinburgh plays host to the 2009 CIPFA in Scotland conference on 19 and 20 March. With speakers including Sir Kenneth Calman, chair of the devolution commission, this event is set to be Scotland's public finance event of the year.
Speaking ahead of the conference, Angela Scott, Head of CIPFA in Scotland said:
'As debates about devolution and funding mechanisms continue, we have attracted some of the key figures in Scottish politics and public finance for our 2009 conference. We want to get to the heart of the big challenges in these difficult economic times'. |

PA of the Year 2009 Northern Ireland's PA of the Year 2009 will be announced at the Executive PA Conference 2009 on 21 April in Belfast. The award, run by CIPFA in association with Sellick Partnership Executive Support, recognises those PAs working in Northern Ireland who shine in their role. Closing date for nominations is Friday, 27 March. |
