John Denham to address CIPFA conference
The Rt Hon John Denham MP, Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, is to address CIPFA's annual conference next week. Having been appointed to lead the Department in the Prime Minister's recent reshuffle, this will be an early opportunity to hear from the new Secretary of State.
The conference, which is on 23-25 June in Manchester, is set to attract more than 700 delegates from across the public services. Other speakers include the BBC's Mark Thompson and leading economist Professor Willem Buiter. |
