Sharing the gain: new guide on shared services

A report on shared services from CIPFA and the Society of District Council Treasurers (SDCT) sets out practical guidance for every step of partnership or shared service projects.
 
Launching the report in the House of Commons, CIPFA Chief Executive Steve Freer said: 'Public bodies are facing the most severe financial challenge for a generation. Sharing the Gain offers a practical pathway to making important economies which will help to protect frontline services. Many organisations are already taking these steps. Others need to join them, and quickly!'   

CIPFA Talent: the finance and accountancy trainee recruitment service
CIPFA has launched a new service to help finance and accountancy trainees apply for their first roles. CIPFA Talent lets trainees fill in one online application form that can then be considered by various employers from across the UK. Register online here
