Second IFRS forum to focus on central government

News articleIn 2009, CIPFA will continue to support  public finance  professionals through the transition to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Focusing on the experiences of central government, our second IFRS forum will provide an opportunity for finance managers from across central government and health to prepare for the next IFRS challenge: revising balance sheets.

CIPFA is co-hosting this key IFRS event with the ICAEW on 16 February at the Chartered Accountants' Hall in London.

For newly-qualified practitioners or those new to central government finance, CIPFA is also hosting an Introduction to Central Government Finance seminar in London on 12 February.
