CIPFA responds to Kelly report
Commenting on Sir Christopher Kelly's report on behalf of the Committee on Standards in Public Life, CIPFA Chief Executive Steve Freer said: 'MPs have a right to express views on the report, however decision making on the expenses scheme must be left entirely to the new Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority'. Issues around inspiring trust in the political system are considered in the CIPFA manifesto.
