Newcastle, Co Down
Transforming Public Services – Accountability and Affordability
The CIPFA Northern Ireland Conference and Exhibition is already
attracting a large and influential audience from the full

central and local government departments, local authorities,
non-departmental public bodies and increasingly from the Republic
of Ireland and further afield. To date we have over 140 delegates
have registered to attend.
Conference 2005 focuses on the tension between, on the one
hand the need for radical improvement in public services that
takes account of local needs and citizen’s choice, and
on the other hand the need to improve accountability to ensure
that best use is being made of public funds.
A presence at the Northern Ireland Conference offers you
a unique opportunity to meet over 200 delegates including
Chief Executives, Directors of Finance and practitioners in
finance, audit, human resources and general management.
The main sponsor of the 2005 conference is the financial
recruitment specialist Sellick Partnership. Other prominent
conference sponsors include KPMG, PricewaterhouseCoopers,
and Brightwater. A limited number of sponsorship opportunities
are still available including exhibition space and advertising
in the conference handbook, but space is being filled up quickly.
