You should have received an e-alert last Friday asking you to feed back on the Student Learning Centre via the online survey. We do value your feedback, so please make sure you complete the survey and return to us by 31 March 2008.

PRINTABLE VERSIONS OF THE STUDY GUIDES

We are now uploading MS Word versions of the study guides. You can access these from the Student Learning Centre Home Page. Go to the CIPFA News section and scroll down to ‘Module Word and Adobe files’.

Currently available are:

• Audit and Assurance
• Financial Reporting
• Governance and Public Policy.

More modules will be uploaded this week.

Please note: these versions are for offline use and printing. The online study guides are where you will find any amendments and should be referred to regularly.

PASSCARDS

Passcards were despatched to students last week. If you have not received them, please email etis@cipfa.org or phone 0207 543 5678.

You can download PDFs of the Passcards from the Student Learning Centre. With the exception of Financial Accounting, all modules are available, including Financial Management, Systems and Techniques and Financial & Performance Reporting.

You can access the Passcards by clicking on the link ‘Module Word and Adobe files’ in the CIPFA News section of the Student Learning Centre.

NEW SERVER

We have moved the Student Learning Centre to a new server. The migration took place overnight on Sunday 16 March in order to improve download speeds and stop ‘timing out’ of study sessions. If anyone is still experiencing these issues, please email etis@cipfa.org or phone 0207 543 5678.

The move to the new server means that for your first login after the move, you should not use the bookmark function, but select the topic you wish to view and move through it until you get to the page you are looking for. This is for the first login only, and bookmarking will proceed as normal after this.

Exam entry deadline is 28 March.
