The CIPFA Education and Training Centre (CETC) is pleased to announce the launch of a series of short courses aimed at students who are unable to attend CETC’s full day/block release courses. These will initially be piloted in Manchester during September and October 2008.
The CETC “Essentials” courses will focus on a number of key syllabus areas for each professional qualification module. There will be one or two courses per module offered, each being a day long. Expert tuition from CETC’s team of CIPFA-focused trainers, together with exam technique advice, will be provided during the courses. Extensive study materials, including numerous exam-style practice questions, will also be provided. There will also be an opportunity during each course to clarify with tutors any problems encountered in studying the module concerned.
These courses will complement other forms of CIPFA study, and should be seen as wholly distinct from CETC’s programme of short revision courses, which will continue to be offered in November.
We are keen to schedule these courses in the modules that you want, in the locations that you want, so have your say - would you be interested in undertaking a CETC “Essentials” course at Manchester? If so, which module(s) would you be interested in? Would you like us to consider scheduling any CETC “Essentials” courses elsewhere in the UK. We would like to hear your views, please email: enquiries@cetc.org.uk or call: 0207 403 4300.

CETC have now released their December 2008 Examinations course dates and fees. These are now available to view on the CETC website: www.cipfa.org.uk/cetc
