The 18th CIPFA Northern Ireland Annual Conference took place in the Slieve Donard Hotel, Newcastle, County Down, on Thursday 24 and Friday 25 September 2009.
Dr Vince Cable spoke on day two of the conference and gave an excellent analysis of the cause and consequences of the economic crisis.
