CIPFA are pleased to announce that they have received a healthy range of submissions for the 2010 award from a range of sector’s across the public and private sector spectrum. Submissions are now out for assessment with Cliff Nicholson and several members of CIPFA’s audit panel. The judging panel will meet on March 29 2010 in London to decide on the 2010 award winner and any highly commended entries. Cliff Nicholson Award Winner 2009
The CIPFA Annual Audit Conference took place on April 22-24 in Leeds where the winner of the award and the two highly commended entries made a presentation of their work to delegates attending the conference. The award, a beautiful crystal bowl and certificates were presented to the award winners by CIPFA President Caroline Mawhood at the formal dinner held at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds on 22 April.
