International Auditors General call for “foresight role”

PMPA/CIPFA event on 26th March discussed the emerging role of public audit in the US, UK and Europe. From traditional strengths in providing hindsight, it was developing to provide insight to support improving performance, but also looking for a role in foresight – addressing the future as a consequence of reviewing the past.
