'Devolution or Divergence? Third Sector Policy across the UK, the Implications for Research, Policy and Practice'
The PMPA December '09 AGM has the pleasure of Professor Peter Alcock, Director of the Third Sector Research Centre, discussing third sector policy under a devolution framework and considering the implications for future policy and practice; his presentation is available to download [PDF]. Health Futures
This lecture series was developed jointly between the PMPA and the Department of Health and aimed to bring together public managers in health and associated fields, academics in public management and others with an interest in public services to explore topical issues in the area of future health, future health services, the role of citizens and the contribution of technology. Commissioning for Personalisation
The PMPA, the Centre for Public Service Partnerships in association with the LGiU, and Queen Mary, University of London, have joined together to the explore and debate the theme of ‘Commissioning for Personalisation’. A programme of seminars, interviews with practitioners and roundtable discussions is currently taking place and a report will be published in May 2010.
