Practice Assurance Application

The full definition of public practice is provided in the Council Statement on Public Practice.  In order to be eligible for a Practising Certificate, you must confirm that you comply with CIPFA’s CPD requirements, Code of Ethics, Standards of Professional Practice and Statement of Expertise. You will also need to comply with CIPFA’s regulations regarding Professional Indemnity Insurance and be regarded by the Institute as a ‘fit and proper’ person.

You should make sure you read the accompanying guidance notes before completing this form.  Your completed form, application fee and supporting documents may be sent to;

Once your application has been processed and confirmed as complete you will be issued with your Practising Certificate and given access to the help sheets on the CIPFA Learning Centre.  Please note that applications may take up to 21 days to complete.
