Scheme review
During 2009 we will review the Practice Assurance Scheme, aiming to implement any emerging changes in 2010.
If you have held a practising certificate during 2008 and 2009, you will shortly receive an email about the e-questionnaire where you can feedback to us.
If you do not hold a practising certificate, but would like to contribute to the review you can send your comments on the scheme to practiceassurance@cipfa.org.uk Obtaining and renewing your certificate
Members that are found to be ‘in practice’ but do not hold a valid practising certificate could be subject to disciplinary proceedings. If you do not hold a certificate and have received a letter from us introducing the scheme and asking you to confirm whether you should apply for a practising certificate but have not replied, please do so immediately.
All Members in Practice should have received and submitted their annual return for 2009. If you have not yet returned it to CIPFA, or if you have not received your renewal pack contact practiceassurance@cipfa.org.uk
Members in Practice logo
We have a new logo for Members in Practice, to use on stationery (e.g. business cards). If you have not already received information about the new logo please contact practiceassurance@cipfa.org.uk
Quality assurance visits
Most of the quality assurance visits planned for the start of 2009 have been completed and feedback has been generally positive. Detailed feedback will appear in a future Spreadsheet.
More information on the scheme can be found in the handbook, available on the website or by contacting CIPFA at practiceassurance@cipfa.org.uk
