Hedley Marshall Award 2008
Hedley MarshallPaul Treadaway of CIPFA South East Region was announced as the 2008 winner of the Dr Hedley Marshall Award at the recent Conference for the Regions. He was presented with the award by CIPFA President, Caroline Mawhood. Learn more.

Congratulations to CIPFA South East who have been announced as the winners of the Regional Website of the Year Award 2008. Congratulations also go to CIPFA North West and North Wales who are the worthy winners of the Most Improved Website of the Year.

Mark Lawrie, Caroline MawhoodCIPFA in the Midlands win two Regional Awards
CIM were announced as the Most Improved Region and also presented with the Regional Innovation Award at the recent Conference for the Regions in Plymouth. Mark Lawrie, Past President of the CIPFA in the Midlands Region, Sarah Howard and Caroline Mawhoodreceived the awards from CIPFA President, Caroline Mawhood. CIPFA in Yorkshire and the Humber were given the award for the Events Programme of the Year. Sarah Howard - Chair of the Yorkshire & Humber Region, received the award from CIPFA President, Caroline Mawhood.

There are eleven CIPFA regional organisations and three students' societies, all of which provide an annual programme of activities which update members and students on current issues and enhance professional skills as well as offering a range of social activities.

The Regions also provide a forum for communication between the Regions' members and students and CIPFA Council.
