CIPFA Wales Cymru – A New Region
A new CIPFA Region for Wales is proposed and members and students affected are now asked to respond by 13 September. Ballot papers and freepost envelopes have already been distributed to members, however the relevant documents are provided here for information:

Free training for commissioners and finance officers
Level 1: 14th September and 2nd November - Birmingham
Level 2: 9th September - Birmingham
The Improvement and Development Agency (IDeA) has partnered CIPFA to deliver a comprehensive training programme for commissioners and finance staff across the public sector. Courses will increase awareness and understanding of the community, voluntary, charitable and social enterprise sectors, help improve engagement and enable greater access to specialist knowledge that will benefit the delivery of public services.
