PrintCIM AGM 2007 Report and Pictures
The CIPFA in the Midlands Regional AGM took place at Walsall Council on 18th April 2007.
Those present were welcomed by the Chief Executive of Walsall Council (right).
The Region was pleased to welcome the national President of CIPFA, Caroline Gardner, to the meeting.
Caroline was presented with a momento of her visit to Walsall.

The outgoing Regional President, Mark Lawrie (left), opened the meeting. Mark has been the President for the last two years.
Following the election of Carole Evans as the new Regional President, Mark handed on the President's Chain. Carole has supported Mark as the Vice-President for the last year.
Carole in turn handed the Vice-President's chain to Steve Wellings. Both Carole and Steve can be seen in the picture to the right, bearing their new chains of office.
Carole and Steve will serve for a period of two years.
Sean Pearce was welcomed to membership of the Regional Council.
The photo shows members of the Regional Council together with the National President.
Caroline gave a Presidential address after the formal business had been concluded. Caroline (centre of picture) then welcomed recently qualified members to membership of the Institute, and presented their certificates.
