New event programme coming soon
CMSS are in the process of finalising the Spring programme of events, featuring the ever-popular study tips sessions with CIPFA examiners and more. Keep an eye out for further details coming soon.

New way to book yourself onto CMSS events
CMSS are pleased to announce that we have joined the 21st century and are now using CIPFA's online booking site to enrol students on our events. This method is much easier than the old method (which mainly involved emailing Carl) and has a whole host of new functionality, notably:

CETC Revision Courses in November
CIPFA’s Education and Training Centre’s (CETC) revision courses are highly regarded. As they are module specific, each course focuses on the relevant key syllabus areas and helps you hone essential exam techniques. The courses can really help you focus your revision on areas with which you need extra help.

Website under construction
CMSS are pleased to announce that the long-planned refurbishment of the website is now underway. For the next week or so, things might look a bit strange, but we will hopefully have additional functionality and a more user-friendly site as soon as possible. Keep coming back and checking how we are getting on!

CMSS AGM
CMSS held its annual general meeting, which was well-received by both students and full CIPFA members. Details will shortly be made available in a website archive. After serving his year as Chair, Carl Ford stepped down and is succeeded by Riz Dhanani. Carl has played a large part in re-invigorating CMSS and we wish him well in his future endeavours… part of which is continuing to represent CIPFA students as he takes the Vice Chair position on the National Student Forum.

Congratulations to students from the Midlands!
CMSS offers congratulations to those students in the Midlands who did well in the recent CIPFA diet, and commiserations to those who didn’t do so well. Students who feel their exam technique is rusty might want to keep a look out for CMSS’s forthcoming events focussed on exam tips. More to follow...
