The North West and North Wales Society organises a large number of courses, conferences and seminars throughout each year. Recent subjects covered include PFI, taxation, pensions, the central government review of local government finance, the RSG settlement, IT training, fraud investigation and systems based auditing.

The North West and North Wales Audit Group run a number of events throughout the year including 3 regular events - our flagship event the Weekend School, held February / March, a Summer Seminar normally held in June and the Fraud Forum generally held in November. Open Training Courses
CIPFA has launched its Open Courses Programme for 2006 (PDF Size: 62KB). The programme offers a range of training courses in areas such as accountancy, financial management, fraud awareness, audit, corporate governance and other organisational issues relevant to the public services.
