Society wins Most Improved Regional Website Award
The North West and North Wales Society were announced as the winners of the Most Improved Regional Website of the Year Award 2008 at the recent Conference for the Regions in Plymouth. Shaer Halewood and David Rose were presented the award by CIPFA President Caroline Mawhood.
In announcing the award, the President said "This Regions' communication with members via email is amongst the best of all of the regional websites. They are also using new avenues of communication to good effect, highlighting regional events on their Facebook group and emailing their Facebook 'friends' with event alerts. Additionally they have added a range of new pages this year".
