E-Newsletter is launched

In June 2009, the Society launched the new look e-newsletter.  Instead of the old lengthy magazine style format, a series of e-bulletins will now be sent out with headline information and links to further details and articles - a bit like the main CIPFA Newsletter.
This means you can go back to these items and read them in as much detail as you, at your leisure

The old newsletter favourites will still be there - news articles, event reviews, member news, forthcoming events, student news, competitions etc and you can still contribute if you wish

As the e-newsletter is sent out via e-mail, ensure that CIPFA has your correct e-mail address by letting them know at memberservices@cipfa.org.uk.  This will ensure you are kept up to date with all the information!

How you can contribute
We are always looking for members and students to contribute to the
e-newsletter in writing articles, telling us news, providing technical advice, commenting on previous editions, setting quizes etc

Why not participate as this will provide CPD points as well! Submit your ideas, articles, news to Shaer Halewood at shaerhalewood@hotmail.com

Take the "Quick Fire Accountant" challenge! 
As part of a new feature in the Newsletter, we are intereviewing members and students for our 15 quick fire question quiz.  The questions ask you to choose from two options, hopefully giving an insight into the type of person you are.  If you would like to take the challenge, download and complete the form and return it to Shaer Halewood and you could soon be featuring in the e-newsletter!

EMPLOYERS NEWSLETTER

As part of the Engaging Employers initiative, the Society produced an Employers Newsletter.  There is no intention to produce this on a regular basis as it was produced to kick off the initiative.  However, the messages in it are very relevant and you can download a copy here
