North West Regional Society

The main Society exists to represent the interests of all members of CIPFA and it provides support and the funds for the Student Forum to operate in its own right. The Student Forum Chair, Carol McDonell, is the primary link between the Student Forum and Society Council. Carol reports to and from Council on behalf of the Forum ensuring all parties are keep up to date with developments.

National Student Forum

The National Student Forum (NSF) was formed with the aim of creating a link between students and CIPFA at the strategic level. Each region is represented by one or two students or newly qualified accountants.  The NSF representatives feed students views to CIPFA and give input to decisions regarding Education and Training, where appropriate.

The Student Forum Chair, Carol McDonnell is acting as NSF Member in order to provide a link from the Forum to the NSF on any issues impacting nationally and locally, as the previous NSF and Forum Member has recently qualified. The student Forum is actively seeking new volunteers, in particular to represent the North West on a national level with the NSF, to cascade the objectives of the NSF down to a regional level to ensure students in the North West are benefiting from national initiatives while also feeding back recommendations and suggestions locally to the NSF.

CIPFA Education and Training Centre (CETC)
