Welcome to our region
Chair of the ROI Branch
Chris Donnelly is the Chairman of CIPFA in the Republic of Ireland, having been elected in 2007 to serve for a two-year term. A senior auditor in the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General, Dublin, his roles have included working on financial management audits of major bodies and in the Value for Money Division of the office.
Chris has served on the RoI branch committee for a number of years, was on the organising committee for two CIPFA/Institute of Public Administration conferences, and led the local branch team in the successful running of the CIPFA Regions conference last month in Dublin Castle.
Looking forward to the coming year, Chris's priority for the local branch is to conduct a number of open day sessions in Dublin and in selected provincial cities. These would be aimed both at student recruitment and at CIPFA members' needs in their workplaces.
