Jim KellyDublin City Council (DCC) Senior Executive, Jim Kelly, CPFA, is the Chairman of CIPFA Republic of Ireland Branch.

Elected to the two year term of office, he is the second official from DCC to occupy this important leadership post – former City Treasurer and Finance Officer, Michael Redmond, CPFA, being the inaugural holder of this important office.

Jim holds a Degree and a number of Diplomas in Public Administration from the Institute of Public Administration; and became a CPFA in 2004. He brings a breadth of finance and general management experience to this role. A long-time local government practitioner, he has had work spells in housing, roads, internal audit, finance and special projects, before taking on some of the management functions of the key North Central Area of Dublin City.

In his private life, Jim has a record of several volunteering and/or other support roles in respect of community, social and sporting initiatives across the city.
