CIPFA Mentoring Scheme

In 2003 CIPFA in Scotland, in partnership with its Executive Committee, developed a tailored mentoring scheme. This involved training of CIPFA members as mentors, assigning these trained mentors to partners and facilitating a process whereby the mentor can advise, guide and support the partner in their professional career and personal development.

The Executive Committee of CIPFA in Scotland are committed to improving services to its members and as a Committee are re-launching the scheme.

The mentoring scheme is a deliberate attempt on the part of the Institute to encourage members to support one another. In this way, the reputation of the Institute as well as the reputation of individual CIPFA members will be considerably enhanced. I would therefore appeal to you to consider volunteering to act as a mentor or volunteer to be mentored.
