Caroline Mawhood is the current President of CIPFA. Caroline is an Assistant Auditor General at the National Audit Office in London in charge of 150 staff and the audit of £300 billion of revenue and £8 billion of expenditure. The audit team at Transport for London received high commendations in the 2009 Cliff Nicholson Award for Innovation and Excellence in the field of audit, for their original approach to procurment and contract audit. Emily Roberston has won the Part Qualified Accountant of the Year award at the Governance Finance Profession conference in November 2008. Emily works for the Department for Transport (DfT), in Strategic Roads Investment Projects and started her studies in January 2007.
