Students' Society

About Us

SE Students' Society CIPFA South East Student Society was established in early 2009 to promote the interests of CIPFA students in the South East. The society operates with the support and funding of the CIPFA South East (CSE) Council, which recognises the importance of improving student development in the region.

The organising committee is made up of student members from the South East, along with co-opted members, from the CIPFA South East Council and CETC in an advisory role.

The society has been set up to enable better channels of communication between CIPFA students in the South East and CIPFA, and to improve the quality of CIPFA students’ experiences by providing additional educational activities and networking opportunities.

Objectives

The principal objective of the CIPFA South East Student Society (CSESS) is to support CSE Council and students within the South East Region through:

Independently representing the views and opinions of CIPFA South East students to CSE Council and the National Students Forum.
The supplementary provision of education and training arrangements for students registered in the South East region.
Enabling CSESS Committee members to represent the views of students, participate actively on CIPFA panels and forums and contribute positively to relevant discussions.
Creating links with the student societies in other regions, other CCAB student societies and regional course providers.
