In order to support our members and students in the South West, the CIPFA South Wales & West of England Regional Council is pleased to announce the formation of a brand new local group in Plymouth.
The aim of the Plymouth Group is to provide high impact, low cost events in the South West of the region and provide opportunities for current and future members and students to attend events that will assist them in their personal and professional development needs.
The Plymouth Group gives the chance for members and students to attend events that they may have previously identified as useful for themselves and/or employers, but have been unable to attend due to the travelling required. By locating future events in Plymouth we hope to attract more attendees from Plymouth and surrounding areas, who may not have previously felt engaged with the Regional Council.
Some ideas for future events have been identified, listed below, but we’d also like to give the opportunity for members and students to feedback to the Group the type of topics they’d be interested in attending events on.
