Finance Committee Training
This programme is written specially for those Trustees, Governors, Elected Members and Non Executive Directors that have a role in scrutinizing and holding to account where significant sums of public money are involved.
It is designed to encourage and empower Finance Committee members by highlighting the key role of these committees and their members.
What will I gain from this course?
The Scottish Public Sector is facing unprecedented financial pressure and scrutiny and the role of the objective non-executive scrutineer is increasingly vital.
This programme will explore how individuals in this non-executive role can play a key part in holding officials to account by showing good governance and clear challenge in regard of material financial transactions across the Scottish Public Sector.
