The CIPFA Education and Training scheme is not just about academic learning:
an integral part of your learning and development is practical training and
experience in the workplace. The newly qualified CPFA is expected to be able
to demonstrate the sound application of a range of techniques in a variety
of contexts, to make sound judgements and to take responsibility for his or
her own work.
The Initial Professional Development Scheme (IPDS) has been developed to help
you focus on your training and development needs as you move towards qualifying
as a CPFA.
