Planning and Application
statements
In these short sections, you should
Planning
- Explain why you made this choice, (for example: it arose from an earlier piece
of work or as a result of your annual appraisal/objective setting scheme); try to
identify the criteria you used in making the decision. You should also be aiming
to set the context of the activity. Did you discuss the choice with anyone?
- Explain how this activity fits your role and why is it useful to the organisation
and/or to your development needs?
- You should also provide details of how you planned the activity, who else might
be involved, timescales etc
- Try to make clear links from your planning statement to the evidence
Once you have completed each plan, go to the checklist to make sure you have addressed all the
requirements.
Application
This short section should describe how the activity was undertaken. As with the
planning, it will be useful if you can make a clear link from this statement to the
evidence.
