IPDS Guide - Reflection

Overall reflection

In order to encourage you to reflect on your learning over the training period you are asked to write a further, reflective commentary which covers the whole development process that you have experienced. This reflection should be undertaken at the final level when you have completed all other tasks. A few examples of the types of issues you may wish to reflect upon are given below:

Your overall reflection will be a longer piece than the previous reflections - about 1000 words.

Future learning goals

Future learning goals should be drawn from your expectations of what you will be doing throughout your future career, and how you need to develop to adequately address these expectations. Your future learning goals should be drawn directly from your reflective commentaries, particularly your overall reflective commentary. They should not be merely a description of tasks you expect to undertake in the future, but an analysis of what you need to learn, or how you wish to develop in order to succeed in your career as a whole.
