Faisal Khan CPFA An Economics & Finance graduate, Faisal is himself a CIPFA Member, with a background in both public and private sector finance. Having graduated in 2002, Faisal initially studied ACCA whilst working as a Business Analyst at John Lewis Head Office. He then undertook a career move into Local Government Finance, where he completed all his CIPFA exams in just over two years. Following a year's stint in Internal Audit with Deloitte, he returned to Corporate Finance as a Senior Accountant. Faisal joined CIPFA as a Business Development Executive in late 2007. His wealth of experience within the industry positions him well to add significant value to employers and students alike. |

James Platt James has been with CIPFA since April 2008. A Qualified CIM, James graduated from Anglia Ruskin University in 2003 with a BSc Honours Degree in Business Information Systems. After starting out in Marketing with Konica Minolta following university, James joined AAT in 2005 where he worked as a Business Development Marketing Executive. Working closely with the Marketing division, this role not only furthered his marketing experience but, strengthened his abilities in the development and management of key employer relationships, across Public and Private sectors. |

John Wallace John joined CIPFA in February 2009 after spending two years with AAT. After graduating from Essex University with an LLB in English & European Law, John chose to do a ski season in Switzerland. After enjoying life on the slopes and plenty of après-ski he decided it was time to return to London, joining AAT in Student Recruitment. His role here progressed to Business Development where he was involved in the account management of, and relationship development with key employers across both the Public and Private sectors. |

Victoria Westley Victoria is a BSc Honours Sociology graduate from the University of Surrey who brings a wealth of marketing experience to the Business Development team. After graduating, she moved immediately into the world of marketing and sponsorship, working for Ernst & Young within the Art Sponsorship team. Following a successful two years, Victoria moved to RBS as Sponsorship Manager, looking after B2B sponsorship such as business awards and conferences, managing key stakeholder relationships. Victoria also joined CIPFA in February 2009. |

Annabelle Simm Annabelle joined CIPFA in April 2009 following a successful career within the Investment Banking sector, working for a niche search & contingency recruitment firm in the City. After graduating from Durham University in 2005 with a BA Honours Degree in Business Economics, she joined Nicoll Curtin Ltd as a Resourcer, developing into Client Relationship and Key Account Manager for Barclays Capital, Citigroup and Deutsche Bank. She brings a wealth of experience in the development and maintenance of client relationships, having been responsible for the management and overseeing of account delivery. |

Abdullah Qureshi Once a semi-professional footballer, Abdullah joined CIPFA in February 2007 and, after a variety of roles within the organisation, joined the Business Development Team in January 2009 as Student Advisor. A Financial Computing graduate from Brunel University, Abdullah pursued a variety of temp roles before joining CIPFA, developing himself into an Education Advisor, providing advice, guidance and information to current students. As a Student Advisor, his role is now dedicated to providing advice to prospective students. Abdullah is a great ambassador for the CIPFA qualification as has he himself is a current student studying Certificate level. |
