Not only is CIPFA the quickest route to Chartered Accountant status, for a limited time AAT members will save up to £300 as they will pay no exemption fees.
CIPFA is the only accountancy body to provide exemptions to AAT members at no cost.
AAT full members are eligible for exemptions from Financial Accounting and Management Accounting and possibly Taxation (if passed relevant AAT tax modules). This would leave just ten papers – all of which can be completed within two years.
AAT members are also exempt from 200 of the 400 work-based experience days required to be demonstrated as part of the Initial Professional Development Scheme (IPDS).
