Calls for papers
The Journal of Finance and Management in Public Services is published twice a year containing
academic papers from a variety of public service management, finance and accountancy topics. All
papers are double blind refereed from an international editorial board.
The Journal publishes papers which are of interest to both the academic and practitioner
communities and may relate to domestic or international practices. The JFMPS has an international
readership, reaching both academics and practitioners. Details of the editorial policy and

Proposals will be considered in the following areas: Accountancy, Financial Management, Treasury, Taxation,
Audit, Management and Strategy, Public Policy, Governance and Politics all relating to Public Services.

The JFMPS, in conjunction with ACIPFAL offer the opportunity for papers to be delivered at the
association’s annual conference held in June annually.
In addition to papers submitted for potential journal publication, ACIPFAL also welcomes
submissions of working papers, research progress reports and discussion papers for
inclusion at the conference.
Papers for consideration for the Journal may be submitted at any time but no later than 1st May
2010 for autumn publication and 1st December for Spring 2010 publication. Authors of journal
submissions are expected to present their findings at the Annual Conference. Other papers for
presentation at conference must be submitted by 15th May, 2010.
