I joined the North-East Student Society in 2007 and am now the secretary. Through the events that are organised we aim to bring together CIPFA students from the whole of the region to create a network which can provide advice and support. |
I began studying CIPFA when accepted onto the DWP's Financial Management Development Scheme in 2006. Prior to this I gained a PhD in Chemistry but decided to opt for a finance career instead! Currently I am halfway through Diploma level and work for the Financial Inclusion Unit based in Newcastle.
